Nationals Park is located northeast of downtown Washington. Nationals Park has been the home of the Washington Nationals since 2008. Nationals Park replaced multi-purpose RFK Memorial Stadium which was the home of the Nationals for three years after the team moved to Washington from Montreal.
Nationals Park is one block from the Navy Yard stop on the Green Line of the Washington METRO System.

Washington Nationals History
The Washington Nationals had the best record in the National League in 2012 and won the Eastern Division Championship. This is the first playoff appearance since 1981 for the franchise and the first for the City of Washington since 1933. They were defeated by the defending World Series Champion St. Louis Cardinals in the Division Playoffs.
